Settegast Park Ballfield Refurbishment Quick Facts

Listed below are the key areas Minute Maid and the Houston Astros, with assistance from the City of Houston, identified as most important to improve Settegast Park Ballfield. When considering areas for refurbishment, three guiding principles were followed:

1) safety – what needs to be done to ensure that all improvements meet or exceed City standards of safety;
2) long-term maintenance – how to help ensure that the upgrades and renovations would endure weather and usage; and
3) aesthetics – in what cost-effective ways could the field be beautified.
